What is SLRM?

While many customers initially think SLRM is produced from recycled tires (called whole tires), it is actually made from the retread (buffings) of large truck tires and Industrial Scrap Rubber (ISR). By using this type of rubber Re-Tek is able to produce a Rubber Mulch that is more "shredded" instead of "crumbed" or "chunked". Not only does this produce a softer rubber, but SLRM has no car tire fibers and is 99.5% free of any fibers. SLRM also has superior coverage per bag. This means it takes less "poundage" of SLRM than "car tire mulch" for a given project.
