What is SLRP?
Soft Landing Rubber Pads
What is SLRP?

SLRP is the name for our play system rubber pad.

What are the dimensions?

SLRP is 3' L x 2' W x 1 ½" H. It comes with a 20lb bag of crumb rubber and is available in Green.

Why does SLRP come with crumb rubber?

SLRP is hollow underneath for softness. The crumb rubber goes under the pad to give the pad support and to increase the shock absorption of the pad.

What is the most common use for SLRP?

SLRP is normally used to prevent muddy areas under swings and slides and to be softer and safer than compacted ground.

Is SLRP just as safe as using SLRM?

No, because SLRM covers the entire play area and has a higher critical fall height, it is still the best choice for your family. For a variety of reasons some customers decide not to buy SLRM. For those customers we developed SLRP.

Who normally buys SLRP?

The typical SLRP customer is someone who wants to eliminate compacted ground and muddy areas commonly found under swings and slides.

Where is SLRP commonly used?

Most often SLRP is installed under all the swings and under the slide.

How many SLRP are needed for each spot?

In most cases 1 SLRP per spot is all that is needed.

Is SLRP hard to install?

No. SLRP is very easy to install.

#1 Lay the pad down in the spot you want it installed

#2 Mark the spot and dig out a 2" hole.

#3 Put the pad back in and make sure that the pad is even or below ground level.

#4 Pour the crumb rubber into the spot and spread

#5 Fit the pad into the spot and pat down using a rubber mallet or hammer
