Re-Tek, Inc. started producing and selling SLRM in 1993.  Since then, over 25 million pounds of SLRM has been sold to Day Care facilities, Schools and family homes.  While rubber mulch has become very common in the last 5 years, we are very proud to be one of the original rubber mulch companies.  We feel that compared to other rubber mulch products,  SLRM is a softer, cleaner (no fiber, no car tire rubber) rubber mulch product.
